Can I use Nationwide eSIM Plans everywhere in Japan?
Yes, eSIM Japan Unlimited Data plans work everywhere in Japan. We select and offer the best data plans which provide the best nationwide coverage.
Should I order and activate an eSIM before traveling?
You can purchase an eSIM at your convenience, either one day before your travel date or upon arrival at your destination.
Additionally, please note that to install the eSIM, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or a cellular data network.
Are voice calls and SMS available with the eSIM plan?
You cannot make phone calls or use SMS with this eSIM plan.
eSIM Japan Unlimited Data plans are data-only and do not include a local mobile number.
After my eSIM data amount runs out, can I make a top-up?
Except for 15 Days, 20 Days, and 30 Days, top-up options are available.
Are there any inaccessible mobile apps when using the eSIM plan?
Please be aware that as this eSIM plan provides a Hong Kong IP address, you may encounter issues accessing services such as TikTok or other restricted services in Hong Kong.
What should I know about purchasing multiple eSIMs?
1. Check the ICCID and install each eSIM separately.
Each eSIM can only be installed once and on one device.
Please use the ICCID to distinguish each eSIM and install them on different devices.
You can find the ICCID and Order Number on your QR code voucher.
2. Make sure you’re installing on the correct device.
After an eSIM is installed on a device, it cannot be moved to another device.
Please double-check the intended device before installation.
3. One ICCID per device.
Do not scan the same ICCID on two devices.
Each eSIM must be installed on a separate device.
4. Do not delete the eSIM.
Once deleted, the eSIM cannot be reinstalled.
If you are experiencing an issue, please contact customer support before removing it.
What should I do, when I didn't receive a QR code email?
Our QR code is sent automatically to the email address you’ve written in the order form within 15 minutes. If you haven’t received your email, please check the following below :
- Please check your promotion or spam folder first.
- You may have a typo in the email address you provided to us. In this case, please contact us at [email protected], so we can resend it to you as soon as possible.
- Please check the email associated with your payment method, as the QR code will be sent to that address.

Hello,
I am writing to report a serious issue with the Japan eSIM I purchased from your website.
I am physically in Japan and using an iPhone 14 Pro, which fully supports eSIM.
The eSIM was installed successfully via QR code and initially showed a brief 4G connection for a short moment. However, shortly after, the connection dropped completely and has not worked since.
Current behavior:
– The eSIM can see Japanese networks (NTT Docomo, SoftBank, KDDI, Rakuten) during manual network search.
– Selecting any of these networks results in no registration.
– The phone only shows SOS / satellite mode.
– No LTE/4G/5G signal appears.
– Data roaming is enabled and the eSIM is set as the primary data line.
– Other eSIMs have been disabled to avoid conflicts.
This indicates that the eSIM profile is not properly provisioned or is being rejected by Japanese networks after initial attachment. Reinstalling is not possible since the QR code has already been used.
The issue is not related to:
– Device compatibility
– Location (I am in Japan)
– Incorrect settings
– Lack of network coverage
At this point, the eSIM is completely unusable.
Please advise one of the following:
1) Re-provisioning or replacement of the eSIM profile, or
2) A refund, as the service cannot be used as advertised.
