You can purchase an eSIM at your convenience, either one day before your travel date or upon arrival at your destination.
Additionally, please note that to install the eSIM, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or a cellular data network.
Are voice calls and SMS available with the eSIM plan?
You cannot make phone calls or use SMS with this eSIM plan.
eSIM Japan Fixed Plans are data-only and do not include a local mobile number.
After my eSIM data amount runs out, can I make a top-up?
Yes, the top-up option is available. You can find the ‘Make a Top-up’ button in the email that contains your QR code to extend your eSIM.
Are there any inaccessible mobile apps when using the eSIM plan?
Please be aware that as this eSIM plan provides a Hong Kong IP address, you may encounter issues accessing services such as TikTok or other restricted services in Hong Kong.
What should I know about purchasing multiple eSIMs?
1. Check the ICCID and install each eSIM separately.
Each eSIM can only be installed once and on one device.
Please use the ICCID to distinguish each eSIM and install them on different devices.
You can find the ICCID and Order Number on your QR code voucher.
2. Make sure you’re installing on the correct device.
After an eSIM is installed on a device, it cannot be moved to another device.
Please double-check the intended device before installation.
3. One ICCID per device.
Do not scan the same ICCID on two devices.
Each eSIM must be installed on a separate device.
4. Do not delete the eSIM.
Once deleted, the eSIM cannot be reinstalled.
If you are experiencing an issue, please contact customer support before removing it.
What should I do, when I didn't receive a QR code email?
Our QR code is sent automatically to the email address you’ve written in the order form within 15 minutes. If you haven’t received your email, please check the following below :

Unfortunately 2 out of 3 sims stopped properly working. We contacted the support team who responded quickly however we still had intermitten issues after that.

Although the data eSIM worked just fine, to be perfect it should be possible to see the amount of data spent instead of becoming without internet suddenly. So my suggestion is to have an app where the user could see and manage the data amount.
Worked perfectly all over Japan, well priced, could buy multiple sims in one go which was ideal as I bought for family of 5 and the customer service was truly exceptional, every email I sent was replied to within an hr and always resolved.
I have topped up the esim 3 times now. The process is simple and although I have a vague feeling that there is a slight stutter as the new package kicks in it does not cause any major issues.A great service and I heartily endorse this company.
