How do I check if my phone is unlocked?
Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use our eSIM. The easiest way to check is to look for “[No SIM restrictions]” on iPhone or try adding another carrier’s SIM/eSIM on Android.
How to check on iPhone
- Open [Settings].
- Tap [General] > [About].
- If you see “Carrier Lock – No SIM restrictions” and “eSIM – IMEI (number will appear),” your phone is compatible with eSIM
- If you can’t find these, your phone doesn’t support eSIM
How to check on Samsung
- Go to [Settings] > [Connections] > [Mobile networks]
- Choose [Select roaming network/Network operators]
- Toggle off ‘Select automatically’ – If multiple networks appear, the phone is likely unlocked. – If only one network appears, or if the Search Networks option is unavailable, the phone is most likely locked to the carrier.
How to check on Google
- Go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [SIMs]
- Select your current SIM
- Toggle off [Automatically select network] – If multiple networks appear, the phone is likely unlocked. – If only one network appears, or if the Search Networks option is unavailable, the phone is most likely locked to the carrier.
What if my phone is locked?
Please contact your current carrier and ask them to unlock your phone before purchasing or installing an eSIM. We cannot unlock your device from our side.
